Looks like something good did come out of the Vick situation. Hopefully he gets a stronger look than he did with the Browns.

A rumor on a Georgetown message board is saying the Tribe will travel to DC this year for their annual guanentee game. Like the ODU match-up last year, it will be played in McDonough Arena, and not the MCI Center.

Finally, a big basketball game more fans can attend. I doubt we can keep it close, but if ODU can beat them we can definitely give it a fight too. Very nice job by Shaver and Vick on this one.

The only thing that could be better news is that football is joining basketball in getting a video, 60 foot high scoreboard for the upcoming season. This was announced at the Tomlin dinner last Saturday, where attendees learned W&M will be facing an ACC opponent for each of the next 5 years, including UVA and NC State.

Basketball: Expect a break-out year from Darnell and Schneiders shooting to get better.

Baseball: Will get better with time. Apparently Farr decided to stop recruiting in his last year here which put the program back, but we are in good hands with Leoni.
