10:18-Check that. The Tribe loses 6-5 in shootouts. Donna Mataya made her kick, but Brittany Bode missed. So disappointing that whenever it looks like we can make a run(see:Moulton-Levy last year) we always fall short. Looks like you can say bye-bye to a playoff home game.
10:14-Makes by Danielle Collins, Emily Kittleson, Abby Lauer, and Lauren Bowers. Miss by Meredith Brown.
For ODU-Makes-Beth Messier, Jodi Knorowski, Janna Pearson, and Katie Watson. Miss by Lisa McKenzie.
Wow, and we go to another shootout I guess?
10:12-SHOOTOUTS!
4-4 right now. Details later.
10:00-The second OT is finished, still 1-1. I will stay straight up that I have no idea what happens next, but I will post it as soon as I find out.
9:56-A bunch of shots this OT. W&M has 4 or 5, 1 for ODU. Wally commented about the yellow’s. ODU’s is Janna Pearson if I remember correctly, and Mary MacKenzie Grier has one for W&M. One minute left in OT 2, Katie Hogwood just had a shot blocked.
9:48-And on to overtime #2. ODU’s Shavon Knight got a shot off with less than a half a minute to go, but the Tribe got the save and the game will continue. Any readers know what happens if it goes past 2 OT’s? PK’s?
9:44-A couple minutes into OT. Both W&M and ODU have had 1 shot. Total shots for ODU-19, 7 shots on goal. W&M-11 shots, 3 shots on goal. The current time is 103:33.
9:33-And we are in over-time. Hopefully coach can rally the troops and we can get a game-winning goal!
9:31-In the 89th minute. ODU has gotten 2 shots in, both have missed. They have really dominated the second half, and I’m just hoping we can crawl into OT.
9:18-Getting later, 81st minute last I checked and it’s still 1-1. Claire Zimmeck just missed a shot on goal. Looking more and more like this is going to OT. Hopefully ODU doesn’t continue to dominate.
8:45-About 10 minutes into the second half, ODU came up with the equalizer. Katie Watson with the goal, Heather Vaughan with the assist. Again, ODU had several chances to put one in the net and finally did. One of their players just got a yellow, that may be important down the strech. We shall see.
8:25-And it’s at the half, still 1-0 in favor of William and Mary. Claire came close to a couple goals, one “off the crossbar”. Hopefully we can get another goal or 2 in the second half to put ODU away!
7:40-GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Donna Mataya puts in the back of the net, assist coming from CAA player of the year Claire Zimmeck. 6 minutes into the game, 1-0 Tribe.
7:21-I thought I’d start up a post tracking the CAA women’s soccer tourney, so I’ll set the scene for you guys. W&M had the first round off along with UNCW, but hopefully the upset bug doesn’t bite the Tribe like it did to the dub. They just lost to JMU, who will be W&M’s opponent if the undefeated in CAA play, #7 Tribe beats ODU tonight in VA Beach. Updates coming.

Looks like 7 for ODU and 3 for W&M. Could be wrong.

OK who has all the yellow cards, I know ODU has one.
